Our Staff

Coach Tolis Koskinaris is the Owner and Head Coach of Cyclones Volleyball.

​

Coach Tolis is the Head Coach for the 2022 National Champions, 2024 - 3rd place, and 2025 - 4th place Women’s Volleyball Team at the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn. He also serves as the Head Coach of the newly formed 2025 National Champion Men’s Volleyball team at the College of DuPage. He previously served as an assistant volleyball coach under Coach LuAnn Zimmick at COD. That program won two National Championships.

For many years Coach Tolis has served as the head coach of the Boys’ Varsity Volleyball team at West Aurora High School where he will soon be taking on an exciting new role for the entire volleyball program.

​

As a player, Coach Tolis helped establish the boys’ volleyball program at Waubonsie Valley High School where he played on the inaugural team under Coach Al Lagger. He also played on the mens’ club volleyball team at the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign.

​

He has served several years as a member of the Board of Directors for the USA Volleyball Great Lakes Region, many of which as Chairman of the Board.

​

Tolis works for USA High Performance, serving as a lead-evaluator during tryouts and as a pipeline coach throughout the summer. He previously assumed the role of boys' program coordinator at Saints Peter & Paul Middle School in Naperville.

The only things that surpasses Coach Tolis’ love of volleyball, and the joy he takes in introducing to the game and helping develop young players, is his love of his family.

• Played club volleyball for TVC/Elite Force, Downers Grove North High School and Lakeland College

• Has been with Cyclones as a player and staff for more than 13 years
• Administrative Assistant for more than 6 years, and currently the Administrative Director for more than 1 year
• Played club for Cyclones for 5 years (14U-18U), played four years of varsity at Glenbard South High School, and player four years at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville

• Has been with Cyclones for more than 7 years
• In her third year of coaching, including Cyclones Jrs and club programs
• Participated in Cyclones Jrs and then played club with Cyclones for 5 years (14U-18U)

• Played for Cyclones and now coaches for Cyclones for a combined total of more than 13 years.
• Started as a Cyclones assistant coach for 5 years, has currently been a head coach for more than 5 years, and has been an assistant coach at the College of DuPage for more than 5 years.
• Played club for Cyclones for 5 years (14U-18U), played 3 years at West Aurora High School, and played for Clarke University as libero and senior team captain.

• First year coaching for Cyclones
• Has over 5 years of combined coaching experience with both volleyball and cheerleading
• Player three years of high school volleyball, two years of at the College of DuPage, and is currently playing at Dominican University.

• Assistant and head coaching for more than 8 years
• Has been playing volleyball since 3rd grade, including setter at the College of DuPage and on the Illinois State University club team
